One of VeAhavta's most important goals has been to bring people together through personal relationships. Only through personal relationships can we truly understand what life is like for someone else.  Empathy results, and becomes a fertile soil from which respect and community can grow.

In accord with this goal, we encourage an ongoing relationship between the residents of Grace Care Center and those on whom they rely for support.  Grace Sponsors commit to ongoing financial support of the children and elders at Grace Care Center.  We also encourage sponsors to become involved in the lives of the residents, by writing to a child or elder and learning about his or her daily life and hopes for the future, or visiting Grace Care Center if possible and seeing first-hand the difference sponsors make.  By doing any of these things, a sponsor offers the children and elders at Grace Care Center the emotional support all people need to thrive.
