Mr. Chandradasa to be Taken to Colombo

We received the following report this morning from Diane McLaughlin, the Grace Care Center Manager, regarding Mr. Chandradasa (aka "Mr. Gandhi"): "I went to Trinco General today to see Gandhi and met with the doctors. They discharged him and are asking for 'further investigations' at this time. He has lost all mobility in his lower left leg due to a narrowing artery. His leg is not getting the proper circulation and is what we call 'drop foot.' His skin is cold to the touch (foot) and he has tremendous pain up and down the left leg. I am taking him to Colombo tomorrow."

Dr. Cheryl Huckins, the Mercy Home Medical Officer, has been informed of Mr. Chandradasa's condition and is monitoring it carefully. We should have more news to report over the weekend.

In the meantime, please keep this wonderful man in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you!

Also, if you would like to contribute your comments and well-wishes to the letter that will be read to Mr. Gandhi in the hospital, please email them to info@you-shall-love.org as soon as possible. The letter will be emailed to Grace tonight (Friday, Oct. 27) at 5:00 p.m. (PDT).
